About the Event

The goal of achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women, adolescents and girls in all their diversity is embedded at the heart of the international community's efforts to address the most pressing global issues.

This side event of the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women is organized by members of the Feminist Foreign Policy + Group (FFP+ Group), an informal network of UN Member States which have announced or are developing a feminist approach to foreign policy as well as feminist civil society actors. The objective of the event is for the members of the FFP+ Group is to share best practices, lessons learned and challenges regarding the drafting, development and implementation of their respective feminist foreign policies, or feminist approaches to foreign policy.
