Reframing Power: Strategic Futures for FFP and WPS
About the Event
This roundtable brings together leaders from government, civil society and philanthropy to explore the future of feminist foreign policy (FFP) and the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in a rapidly changing geopolitical and digital landscape. Building on strategic foresight discussions convened by the Global Diplomacy Lab, the session will examine how feminist approaches to diplomacy can remain durable across political cycles, how global commitments can better support women peacebuilders on the ground and how emerging technologies and digital governance frameworks can embed principles of inclusion, safety and justice. The dialogue will be held under Chatham House Rule to encourage open exchange.

Exploring Feminist Foreign Policy in Practice: Insights from Mexico and Beyond
*Register via the above form or by emailing Selena Cai at selena@theadvocacyteam.co.uk.
About the Event
Co-organized by The Advocacy Team and the Embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom, this webinar, entitled “Exploring Feminist Foreign Policy in Practice: Insights from Mexico and Beyond,” aims to honour the progress made toward gender equality with and through feminist foreign policy, and to reflect on the work that remains.
Mexico has made several advances in gender equality. Having become the first country in the Global South to adopt a feminist foreign policy in 2020. As the only OECD country with full gender parity in parliament as of 2025, Mexico has driven and challenged the considerations diplomats, policymakers and scholars need to make for gender equality.
Join us in this discussion to explore the role of women’s representation, feminist approaches to diplomacy and intersectionality in global politics.
