Application Deadline: November 6, 2023 (Rolling) || The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for execution of the organization’s administrative tasks, including managing the CEO’s calendar and travel (booking, expense reporting, etc), team scheduling and notetaking, support for events and digital communications as needed. The Administrative Assistant will work cross-functionally supporting the FFPC team, the coalitions it manages—the Global Partner Network for Feminist Foreign Policy and the Coalition for a Feminist Foreign Policy in the United States—and our fiscal sponsor, Panorama Global.

When Margot Wallstrom, then Sweden’s foreign minister, announced back in 2014 that her country would pursue a feminist foreign policy, the idea was greeted with skepticism.

What will it really take to change our global system? What do systemic alternatives rooted in human rights and centering justice look like? How are feminist foreign policies attempting to tackle some of these issues, or how should they? This session will explore a new global order and challenge existing paradigms so that we may re-imagine what a feminist future can look like.

The Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative is looking for a Strategic Communications and Media Relations Consultant or Agency to help us amplify our efforts to advance feminist approaches to foreign policy to reach new global audiences including: governments and civil society in the Global South and North, international media and foreign policy outlets, especially those not traditionally focused on gender.

Recently, several higher profile women have spoken of integrating a feminist foreign policy into their leadership, including Annalena Baerbock, Germany’s foreign minister. What is feminist foreign policy, what separates it from a non-feminist foreign policy, why it is relevant now and how can we execute it?
