Ambika Vishwanath (she/her) is the Co-Founder and Director of Kubernein Initiative, a boutique research forward advisory in India, and currently serves as a Principal Research Fellow at La Trobe Centre for Global Security in Australia. For over two decades she has worked at the intersection of water, climate, gender and security in several geographies around the world. Kubernein works closely with governments around the world in implementation of their feminist foreign policy principles to ensure that they are most reflective of peoples’ needs and contexts. Under Ambika's leadership, Kubernein also began work on examining the potential for an inclusive foreign policy in India and has conducted comprehensive research on India's foreign policy system through a gender lens. In the Pacific, she currently is working on multilateral partnerships to elevate the climate and security discourse with a strong human and environment lens.
