Sanaa Kashif

Sanaa Kashif (she/her) is currently serving as an Intern at the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative. In this role, she supports the Feminist Foreign Policy Repository and monitors key news and updates across the feminist foreign policy field.

Sanaa brings a research and impact evaluation background to the Collaborative. Her journey began at the World Bank's Development Research Group, where she compiled and analyzed labor market and minimum wage data across Bangladesh, Australia and Mauritius to strengthen the evidence base for labor economics research. In line with her commitment to using rigorous evidence to inform policy, she worked as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University, building a dataset on pre-trial detention and electronic monitoring practices across 20 of the largest jail systems in the United States. She also served as an Analytical Intern at the Center for Economic Research Pakistan, supporting a randomized controlled trial on education sector accountability, and currently works in an Impact Evaluation capacity at Wasla Connect, assessing program outcomes for refugees navigating career transitions.

Sanaa holds a Master's in International Development Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam, where she minored in Economics and Law.
