About the Event

Co-organized by The Advocacy Team and the Embassy of Mexico in the United Kingdom, this webinar, entitled “Exploring Feminist Foreign Policy in Practice: Insights from Mexico and Beyond,” aims to honour the progress made toward gender equality with and through feminist foreign policy, and to reflect on the work that remains.

Mexico has made several advances in gender equality. Having become the first country in the Global South to adopt a feminist foreign policy in 2020. As the only OECD country with full gender parity in parliament as of 2025, Mexico has driven and challenged the considerations diplomats, policymakers and scholars need to make for gender equality.

Join us in this discussion to explore the role of women’s representation, feminist approaches to diplomacy and intersectionality in global politics.
