About the Event

This event, organized by the Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship at the American University of Beirut in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in Lebanon, Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative and Women Deliver, builds on the outcomes of the Fourth Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policy (Paris, October 2025) to advance dialogue on how feminist diplomacy can be localized and strengthened in conflict-affected and transitional settings.

The discussion explores how FFP and the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda intersect and reinforce one another. It aims to generate critical reflection on how feminist diplomacy can move beyond high-level commitments to embed equality, justice, and peace in practice, anchoring global frameworks in local feminist realities and experiences.
