On August 12-15, 2025, our Founder and CEO Lyric Thompson and Senior Fellow and former Special Representative for FFP of Argentina Marita Perceval shaped several discussions on the synergies between FFP and the care economy at events organized within the framework of the XVI Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean in Mexico City.

On the margins of the UNGA79 High-Level Week, the Ministers of the Feminist Foreign Policy Plus Group (FFP+) met, for the third time in this context, with the purpose of strengthening and renewing their political commitments to feminist foreign policies. The FFP+ invited Ministers from other Member States and civil society organizations, including the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative, that are committed to the advancement of gender equality.

At this pivotal moment, our panel of experts will discuss feminist foreign policy’s growing influence on global geopolitics, bipartisan opportunities for U.S. political leaders to advance its worldwide impact and how a feminist foreign policy agenda can help the feminist philanthropy movement and work of local women’s funds in the U.S.
